Hi..love that Treasure Belt... how do you prevent the edges from becoming too lumpy?... I haven't got 'handwoven' mag yet as I'm in New Zealand!
Terri thinks you may have begun and finished in the middle rather than the edge....is that right? if so thats ingenious...I'm new to Saori having discovered it in Canada this summer. Hope you can help me
thanks Cherrie
Hi source,
Thank you for your comment.
Since I couldn't understand your English, I am writing and telling you how I made the belt.
When I warp, I doubled the width of a belt and weave. When you finish weaving, you fold it in a half and sew both sides.
Anyway, welcome to SAORI! Let's learn together as a group!!
If I am not answering what you want, please let me know. I can ask my husband (he is an American)your question. Chiaki
Hi Chiaki...... thats great thankyou, I'm doing it differently but the next one I will try your method. I will put a picture on Ravelry if you look at that.
Cherrie
